Does any one think bloc party are not very good live! i heard a cuple of thier live tunes n they were nothing like the recorded bloc party i'm used to hearing. Wat u guys think?

I heard them on spanking new music live on mtv2, and they sounded pretty much like their recorded stuff, however I don't really like Bloc Party that much on the whole.

I heard them on the album chart show on E4 and they were shockingly shite !

I went to see them in blackpool about a week ago cos biffy were supporting.
Bloc party were dull.

personally, i think;
if you like them enough and know nearly all their songs, they could be good.

lol are you implying, martha that you know all of their songs? lol I think they are a good band and they're album isn't bad, however like i said before, they can't perform live for shit!

No, i'm not saying that i know all of their songs.. but if you did then it could be a good show.
i went to see them couple of weeks back, thought the songs i knew were good, but i didnt know that many and an hour and half of watching a band youre not completely interested in isnt the best thing to do, hence why we didnt.

I booked tickets for a december gig about 2 weeks ago while I was rather drunk, thinking it was an awesome idea...
Now I'm not so sure =S
Oh well.. that gives them 7 months to either split up and refund me, or for them to get good!

Its in Manchester, but I think I'll probably go. The drunken logic was that we'll have a good laugh if there are loads of us there, so we booked them and I think I'll go with that logic and hope for the best!

I've not seen them live but based on bootlegs: They're fantastic live. As indeed, they are on record.
