Now let's talk real music. I think Thin Lizzy are one of the most underated bands in history. Punchy vocals, outstanding guitar harmonies and most of all great songs; Jailbreak, Emerald, Dancing In The Moonlight.

TOTALLY. Phat lizzy rules my world to. Emerald is my favourite from this fine collection of bangin tunes

Are you serious? Iron Maiden are Pop Metal trash! I think Thin Lizzy are underated or perhaps they are just not as widely known as other bands such as Led Zep or Pink Floyd!
i agree i fink thin lizzy are good ive only been listening 2 them 4 a few months but they have catchy riffs and good vocals. Iron maiden are crap, and i agree thin lizzy arent as well known as led zep im not sure why maybe its because there not as in your face as bands like led zep and guns n roses maybe they lack a frontman

fair enough but do u think he gets as much attention as frontmen like axle from guns n roses, btw im not having a go at the frontmans talents just the fact whether he drew attention to the band as people were talking about whether thin lizzy were underrated

oh.. and zep and floyd are more overrated.. but simply because they are beautiful. They are highly respected due to the fact they have produced somthing worth respecting!
but all that being said, thin lizzy are a good band. i agree. but they are not really unappreciated, i mean just about every 'oldies rock' album has at least one of their songs on.. even MORE so than zep. just because zep had a couple well known songs, thats all the are known for. no-one seems to delve deeper and appreciate their sound nowadays other than whole lotta love or stairway to bloody heaven. well, most people anyway.

Boys! Quite simply. Those bands were quite rightly respected for music worth respecting but there's so much Thin Lizzy people don't even know. That's what I think is a shame regardless of other bands talents!
